It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jean Neuse of Gonzales, Texas, born in Gillett, Texas, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jullien Marrou and Emma Spiekermann Marrou; her husband Edgar Gene Neuse; and her siblings, Emily Gray, Ella Menard, Ruby Mae Marrou, J. T. Marrou and Tommy Marrou.
She is survived by: her sons, Nathan Eugene Neuse (Marilyn) of Gonzales, Paul Edward Neuse (Dianne) of Gonzales and Gary Alan Neuse (Charlotte) of Hallettsville; her sister Mabel Gray of Gonzales; and her grandchildren, Kendel Neuse, Stefanie Marcus (Stace), Adam Neuse (Amber), Cortney Connor (Mark), Colin Grahmann, Carson Neuse (Jordan), Connor Neuse (Shellbe), Cason Neuse, Elizabeth Neuse and Brooke Rivera (Josh). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church.
