She was predeceased by: her husband Guillermo Lerma; her parents, Feliciano Alva and Rosa Alva; her sons, Jesse Lerma and Armando Lerma; and her sisters, Sabina Alva and Berta Alva.
She is survived by: her children, Juan Lerma of Gonzales, Willie Lerma of Gonzales, James Lerma (Heather) of Gonzales, Lisa Suarez (Jose) of Gonzales, Maria Ramirez (Ray) of Gonzales, Sandra Flores (Valentine) of Gonzales, Sonja Ramirez (Hilario) of Gonzales and Martha Jiminez (Jose) of Gonzales; her siblings, Sidencio Alva (Alicia) of Big Spring, TX., Louis Alva (Gloria) of Gonzales, Jose Alva (Rosa) of Gonzales, Carmela Alva (Gilbert Colunga) of Palau Coahuila and Mexico; and her brothers-in-law, Jesus Salazar and Presirio Perez. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
