It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria G. Sixtos (Gonzales, Texas), who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberto Garza and Juanita Garza (Aleman); her husband Macario Sixtos; her children, Luis Sixtos, Martin Sixtos and Mary Ann Sixtos; and her siblings, Roberto Garza, Ismael Garza, Andres Garza, Jose Garza, Francisco Garza, Sr., Dora Mendez, Josefa Banda and Elvira Villisano.
She is survived by: her children, Macario Sixtos, Jr. (Maria E.) of Richmond, Maria A. Inosencio (Juan) of Hallettsville, Rosa L. Sixtos-Hance (Jeffrey) of Katy, Janie Monge (Misael) of Richmond and Vickie Bautista of Cuero. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
