He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd T. Ward and Beulah Ball Ward; his sister Martha King; his brother-in-law Aubrey King; and his brother Garry Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Susan K Ward of Gonzales; his children, Julie McLain (James) of Earth, Jimmy Dale Ward (Patsy) of Elida, NM, Kennon Lee DuBose (Tamra) of Gonzales and Greg DuBose of Gonzales; his sister Beverley Bryant (Joe Mike) of Portales, NM; his siblings-in-law, Billy Bob and JoAnn Low of Gonzales; and his grandchildren, Logan McLain (Beth), Orrin McLain (Darcy), Ethan McLain, Jesse Ward (Michelle), Lindsey White (Cody), Dakota DuBose and Brandon DuBose. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church Building and Grounds Fund.
