He was predeceased by: his father Leon Ornelas Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Dora Ornelas of Gonzales; his wife Mary Jane Martinez of Gonzales; his children, Jennifer Ornelas of Waelder, Christopher Ornelas of Cedar Park and Eric Ornelas of Gonzales; his siblings, Mary Amaya (Ruben) of Missouri City, Lupe Ornelas of Gonzales, Hope McHaney (David) of Seguin, Catherine Leal (Al Sampson) of Georgetown, Leon Ornelas (Lillie) of Wichita, Leroy Ornelas (Chris) of Ardmore, Doris Zambrano (Carney) of Gonzales, Veronica Cleveland (Johnathan) of Gonzales, David Ornelas (Lydia) of San Antonio and Cinnamon Ornelas of Pflugerville; and his grandchildren, Isaiah Camarillo, Noah Camarillo, Abigail Trevino, Blake Ornelas, Nico Ornelas, Megan Ornelas, Raven Ornelas and Jayla Ornelas. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
