He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Swenson and Lillian Swenson; and his brother Morris Swenson. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Karin and Johnny Jr. (Sarah); his grandchildren, Kali, Alex, Lilly and Isaac; his brother Donald Swenson; his nephews, Douglas and Phillip Swenson; and his niece Linnaea Swenson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Thompsonville Community Church.
