He is survived by: his children, Bertha Erskin of Gonzales, Texas, Joel Erskin of California, Danny Ray Den of Victoria and Ulysses Brent Smith of Houston; and his grandchildren, Twanshay Bright, Daja L. Henderson, Brenton McCoy, Caress Erskin, Deginald Erskin, Elrod Erskin and Latorie Erskin. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
