It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vega of Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Pete Hernadez Vega; and his brother Pete Vega Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Janie Ramos Vega; his wife Cynthia Vega of Gonzales, TX.; his daughter Jerika Huerta; his son-in-law Alexis Huerta of Gonzales, TX.; his sons, Connor Vega and Caiden Vega; his grandchildren, Angel Huerta and Ivan Huerta; his stepfather Michael Polk; and his siblings, Gilbert Vega (Kristi), Lisa Lopez (Roger), Marion Vega, Rebecca Castillo (Alvin), Michele Polk, Beatrice Polk and Rachel Cardoza (Mario). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and uncles.
