James Hodge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Hodge of Gonzales, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Hodge to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hodge and Ora Lee Walters Hodge; and his brothers, Mike Langston and Tommy Langston. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Carolyn Mitchel (Don), James Allen Hodge II (Tiffany), Johnny Russell Hodge (Cindy) and Jeffery Lee Klein (Mariann); his sisters, Donna Marie Moody (Danny) and Sheryl Langston; his grandchildren, Micheal Vaughn (Mia), Julian Hodge, Nikole Lehnen (Clint), Kiara Tarin (Kyndrik), Zander, Morgan, Keaton, Bryson, Abby, Eliot, Waylon, Oaklyn Klein, Kaytie and Kayson Klein; and his great grandchildren, Kori, Jack, Macie, Brennix, Memphis, Kynlee, Colt, Tinzley, Nathan and Elijah.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freund Funeral Home. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Glen Rest Cemetery (2000 Memorial Blvd, Kerrville, TX 78028).
Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Heart to Heart Hospice and First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown.
