She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Mendez and Francisca Mireles Mendez; her son Joe Luis Ramos Sr. of Nixon, TX; and her siblings, Juan Mendez, Thomas Mendez, Elida Perez and Estefana Pena.
She is survived by: her husband Fredis Morataya of Leesville, TX.; her children, Rosa Garcia (Henry) of Albany, TX, Hope Bowden of New Braunfels, TX, Susie Hanson (Ralph) of Cibolo, TX, Tammy Cantu (Gus) of Schertz, TX, Erma Ramos (Juan) of Gonzales, TX., Fidel Ramos (Donna) of Luling, TX, Manuel Ramos (Janie) of Plainview, TX, Romaldo Ramos (Margarita) of Nixon, TX, Valentine Ramos of Nixon, TX, Domingo Ramos Jr. of Nixon, TX, Nicholas Ramos (Carrie) of Tulia, TX and Jonathan Ramos of Nixon, TX.; and her sisters, Janie DeLeon of Nixon, TX, Cepherina Ramirez of Seguin, TX, Loisa Mendez of McQueeney, TX and Trina Mendez of Nixon, TX.. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Seydler-Hill Funeral Home will continue to require all attendants to take protective measures regarding social distancing, usage of hand sanitizers and wearing personal protective masks for the visitation, rosary, church service, and the graveside burial rite. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend.
