He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Tieken and Annie Englebach Tieken. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Tieken; his son Bruce Tieken (Billie Jo); his siblings, Donald Tieken of Gonzales, Dale Tieken (Martha) of San Antonio, Lisetta Tharp (Larry) of Gonzales and Angela "Jeannie" Koenig of St. Hedwig; his sister-in-law Patsy Tieken of McKinney; his grandchildren, David Ross Tieken and Shelby Meredith (Lynn); and his great grandchildren, Hunter Tieken and Rhett Meredith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of one's choice.
