She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvino Cortez and Asusa Alverez Cortez; her husband Miguel Torres Sr.; her children, Cynthia Garcia, Alvin Torres and David Torres; her grandson Joe Angel Torres; and her siblings, Carmen Mendoza, Trinidad Vasquez, Helen Rivera, Theresa Rivera, Jesus Vasquez, Faustino Vasquez, Concepcion Vasquez and Silvestre Cortez.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Medellin (Roland) of Gonzales, Michael Torres, Jr. (Gloria) of Gonzales, Jesse Torres of Gonzales and Carlos Torres (Sonia) of Gonzales. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 4 Great-great grandchildren.
