We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2021, Gretchen Breitschopf (Gonzales, Texas), born in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Sachs Rainey of Houston and Jackson Pirtle Rainey of Monette, Arkansas.. She is survived by: her children, Rivers (Paul Teske), Ross (Lynn Hatchett), Heidi (Hal Lentz) and Robert "Bobby" (Sarah Breitschopf); her grandchildren, Tara Teske Lappa, Paul Teske, Jordan Teske Patterson, Reece Norris, Russell Norris, Rainey Norris Vaquera, Will Hatchett, Tinsley Hatchett, Hunter Lentz, Houston Lentz, Hayden Lentz, Hudson Lentz, Rebecca Breitschopf, Elizabeth Breitschopf James and Hannah Breitschopf; her great grandchildren, Tyler Teske, Olivia Lappa, Jackson Lappa, Gretchen Rose Norris, Redmond Norris, Lucy Norris, Beau Norris, Boone Vaquera, Aspen Lentz and Rainey Lentz; her sister Gail Seaton of San Antonio; and her sister-in-law Barbara Lauer of Yoakum. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, graveside burial rite. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend.
Although in her later years Alzheimer's robbed her of her memories, she never forgot her first love, Jesus Christ.
