He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Peterek and Stella Novak Peterek; his brother-in-law Gary Smith; and his mother-in-law Bobbie Johnson. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Johnson; his daughter Lana DuBose of Austin; his son-in-law Sean DuBose of Austin; his son Greyson Peterek of Bastrop; his grandsons, Will DuBose of Austin, Jack DuBose of Austin and Gregory Cole DuBose of Austin; and his siblings, Janet Smith, Debbie Drasta, Bill Peterek (Terry), Allen Peterek and David Peterek (Jill). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
