She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Mata and Marcelino Sr. Mata; her brothers, Marcelino and Oscar Mata; her children, Amada and Mata-Vera; and her husband Chuco.
She is survived by: her children, Jeneva Kincaid (Saturn), Robert Flores, Jr., Kristie (Abel), Flores and Vida Alarcon (Sal). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
