It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Tieken of Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Tieken and Annie Englebach Tieken; and his siblings, Dolly Ann Vasquez, Lena Rose Vaughan, Charlissa Bolten, Otto Tieken, Jr., John Henry Tieken, Holmes William Tieken and James Lynn Tieken.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte L. Tieken of Gonzales; his son Gerald Duane Tieken (Barbara) of La Grange; his siblings, Jeannie Koenning of St. Hedwig, Lisetta Tharp (Larry) of Gonzales, Harold Tieken (Betty) of Gonzales, Donald Tieken (Annie) of Gonzales and Dale Tieken (Martha) of San Antonio; his siblings-in-law, Charles Bolton of Luling and Patsy Tieken; his granddaughter Megan Kaye Benson (Jason); and his great grandchild Jackson Benson of Dripping Springs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity and the use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation and graveside burial rite.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the: First Lutheran Church of Gonzales.
