It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franco Martinez (Gonzales, Texas), who passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Martinez and Braulia Martinez (Figueroa); and his siblings, Guadalupe Martinez, Roberto Martinez, Samuel Martinez and Eustolia Vera.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Martinez; his children, Alex Martinez (Maria A.) of Gonzales, Tony Martinez (Olga) of Gonzales and Veronica Martinez (Antonio Izagurre) of Gonzales; and his siblings, Seferino Martinez (Asela) of Villa Juarez, SLP, Magdalena Gonzales of Houston, Agapita Martinez of Monterey, Mexico and Elvia Martinez of Aurora. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
