It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Reid Tolbert (Gonzales, Texas), who passed away on December 1, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Jesse Reid, Sr. and Elizabeth "Bunnie" Reid (Scoggins). She is survived by: her husband Arthur Parr Tolbert; her daughter Elizabeth Kay Drescher (Gary Lee) of Gonzales; her grandsons, Kyle Ray Drescher and Ross Lee Drescher (Taylor) of Houston; her great grandchild Nico Parr Drescher of Houston; and her siblings, Jesse Nelle Hahn (Reid) of Pleasanton and Tillman Jesse Reid, Jr. (Patricia) of Gonzales. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
