With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ello Filip of Gonzales, Texas, born in Shiner, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Filip and Mary Pany Filip; his wife Betty Jane McVea; and his siblings, Viola Filip, Oscar and Leroy Filip.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Grey Filip of San Antonio; and his sister Edna Allen of Austin.
Because of the present and increasing spread of the Covid-19 virus, private family graveside services will be held at 2p. m. Monday, January 18, 2021 in Thompsonville Cemetery with Fr. Paul Raaz officiating.
Memorials may be made to an Animal Shelter of one's choice.
