It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Thomas (Gonzales, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay Cornelius Corley and Delmar R. Corley; and her granddaughter Francesca Giannotti (Frankie). She is survived by: her husband Don; her brothers, William Corley (Maridee) and Gary Corley (Becky); her stepbrothers, David Mullins (Patty), Ricky Mullins and Michael Hughey (Suzzette); her children, Amy Avant (Darby) of Brenham and Jody Polk (April) of Bleiblerville; her stepchildren, Brett Thomas (Jamie), Camron Thomas (Courtney), Zachary Thomas and Trina Mata (Jaime); her great grandchild Cayden; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Madison (Jaxon Thomas), Matthew (Micha Mata) and Ethan Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to her granddaughter's memorial fund: Francesca (Frankie) Giannotti Memorial fund to benefit future college scholarships.
