It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ausencio Zuniga (Gonzales, Texas), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Zuniga and Telesfora Zuniga (Estrada); and his daughter-in-law Ismelda Castaneda Zuniga. He is survived by: his wife Maria Concepcion Rodriguez; and his sons, David (Socorro) of Mexico, Jesus (Antonia) of Durango, Julio (Maria) of Gonzales and Alejandrino Zuniga of Mexico. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
