She was predeceased by: her parents, Zilmon J. Baker and Florence Townsend Baker; her husband George Peter Valenta; and her siblings, Buford R. Baker and Evelyn Jo Pfuhl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Veronica Sue Camarillo (Carlos) of Gonzales, Jacqueline Marie Dickens (Rodney) of Canyon Lake and Debra Kay Franklin (Thomas) of Gonzales; and her siblings, George Peter Valenta, Jr. (Maisy) of Gonzales, Juanita Jane Iley (Kenneth) of Gonzales, Elizabeth Ann Baker and Rusty Vanwyck of Yoakum. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
