He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Bego, Sr. and Leona Baker Bego; his wife Barbara Bego; and his siblings, Doris Freer and Glenn Bego.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Ploetz (Reagan) of Seguin, Texas, Russell Bego of Corpus Christi and Kevin Bego of Goliad, Texas; his grandchildren, Randal Ramirez (Esteban), Ross Bego, Reagan Vance (Spencer), Kassidy Bego, Kolin and Kaitlyn Ploetz; and his great grandchildren, Jace, Kayden Ramirez, Tucker and Walker Vance.
The family requests that donations be made to Goliad Methodist Church or Goliad Senior Citizens.
