It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celestina Ortiz (Goliad, Texas), who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Nicholas Cabrera; her husband Jose G. Ortiz; her sisters, Lucia Davila, Michela Flores, Lucinda Gallegos and Eufemia Cano; and her daughters-in-law, Dora Ortiz and Amy Ortiz.
She is survived by: her sons, Alfred (Sandra), Carlos (Martha) and Jose Ortiz (Crystal); and her brother Macario Cabrera (Emma) of Goliad. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
