She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell L. Smith and Doris E. Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Elaine Walston-Sanchez (Alfredo) and Jennifer Jo Walston; her husband Joseph A. Walston Jr.; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jillian and Jenna; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Algernon (Don), Laura Lee Warnix, Michael Walston and Norman Owen. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Beverly asked donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Foundations for Divergent Minds, organizations close to Beverly's heart.
