He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Berger and Lula Rae Berger (Thigpen) of Goliad; his daughter Teresa Partain; and his brother Larry Berger. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Berger (Karnei); his daughter Sharon Lubianski (Mark) of Corpus Christi, TX; and his siblings, Michael Berger (Josie), Myra Sue Schulze (Jim) and Karen Harvey. He is also survived by three other children; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (238 N Commercial St, Goliad, TX 77963). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Goliad Knights of Columbus, Goliad EMS or Masses.
