Jerry Wayne Stice Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Stice of Goldthwaite, Texas, who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elsie Stice and Dannie Leola Mays (Anderson); and his brother David Stice. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Stice; his children, Sara Stice Welther (Thomas) and Adam Stice (Misty); his siblings, Dannie Baker (Don), Bill Stice (Diane), Brenda Drennan, Dennis Stice (Lillie) and Danny Stice (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Carter Miller, Kaden Maronge, Elizabeth Welther, Ava Stice, Cole Cranfill, Katherine Welther and Abigayl Welther. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Malakoff Cemetery.
