He is survived by: his children, Michelle Yvette Mathis of Rosenberg, TX, Lance Finley of Rosenberg, TX. and Michael Levett Mathis, Jr. of Houston, TX; his siblings, Dorothy Webster of Houston, TX, Adrian Mathis and Anthony Mathis, Sr. of Houston, TX; his aunts, Sandra Franklin of Rosenberg, TX, Brenda Lofton of Rosenberg, TX, Dorothy Walker, Ruby Spillar and Melba Edwards; his great-uncle Billy Ray Williams (Church); and his grandchildren, Xzavier Leon Lewis and Jarvis Jamont Livingston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, pastors, ministers, and friends.
