He was predeceased by: his mother Leola McQueen Massie; and his brothers, H. W. Massie (Dub) and Joe Ferrell Massie. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Massie of Golden; his sons, Terry Massie (Kathy) of Golden, Gerry Massie (Mariann) of Golden and Kelly Massie of Golden; and his grandchildren, Wendy Fitzgerald, Heather Massie, April Lewers and Jarred Massie. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
