He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Swarner and Dorothy M. Swarner; and his brother Walter C. Swarner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo; his children, Susan Langston (Denny) and Edgar Swarner, Jr.; and his granddaughters, Kelsey Jo Langston and Courtney Ann Langston.
