He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sklar and Francis Fojt Sklar; his former wife Enita Sklar; and his siblings, Ira Sklar, Evelyn Sklar Bravenec and Guthrie Sklar.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schaefer-Sklar; his children, Suzy Wiest (Jim), Sheri Sklar-Evins (Danny) and Allan Sklar, II (Angela); his stepson Doug Schaefer (Kim); his sister-in-law Marjorie Sklar; and his grandchildren, Jacqui Wiest, Aubree Sklar, Ashlyn Sklar, Avery Sklar, Sterling Wiest and Ainsley Sklar.
