He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Lena Mae Giles (Hardcastle); his wife Christalene Giles; his son Lawton Giles; his brother Wendal Dan "Pink"; his sister-in-law Ann Giles; and his son-in-law Bobby Lee Yates.
He is survived by: his children, Jalene Yates of Godley, Kandice Gallimore (Mario) of Crowley and Daniel Johnson (Nicole) of Granbury; and his grandchildren, Willa Johnson, Abby Gallimore, Ana Gallimore, Dustin Yates, Randy Yates and Christie Yates. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
