He was predeceased by: his parents, L. W. Beasley and Doris Beasley Young; and his brother Don Winslow Beasley. He is survived by: his children, Patriece, Keshia (Jay), Shavon (Kevin) and Ernest; his wife Shirley "Muffin" Beasley; his sons, Andra (Christiana) and Darrick (Rory); his grandchildren, Darius Sr., Elyssia, Ethan and Addyson; his great grandchild Darius Jr.; his pet Cash; and his siblings, Jerry Beasley, Samuel Freeman, Glenda Beasley Hughes of Houston, Vivian Goff (David) and Denise Thompson (Tommy).
