Annette Johnson wrote a sympathy message

“We wish to extend our condolences to the family of Alvin Cavaness. Alvin and our father, Wayne Johnson were childhood friends, golfing buddies and best friends. They loved to tease each other and were very competitive golf buddies. We remember times when we were children when his family would visit our home for a meal or we would visit them at their home. Even though Alvin moved his family from Abilene, those two men still stayed friends and spent many wonderful vacations with their wives.”
