He was predeceased by: his parents, John Melvin and Clovie Coreen Cudd (White); his wife Amy Earleen Waits Cudd; his siblings, Kenneth Cudd (Earline), John Cudd (Joyce) and Cathryn Cooper (J. B.); his siblings-in-law, James Waits and Cecelia Waits; and his son-in-law Tommy Wiley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Key (David), Diane Wiley and Dana Broumley (Keith); and his grandchildren, Amy Lynn (Billy), Angela Brown (Barry), Jason Wiley (Sherry), Wes Wiley (Kristin), Justin Broumley (Lori) and Dusty Broumley (Ashley). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great- grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Heath Cemetery.
