With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorette Johnston (Glen Rose, Texas), born in Dequincy, Louisiana, who passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph T. Johnston; her parents, Emma Smith and Lonnie Smith; her siblings, Turman Smith, Herman Smith, Jessie Smith, Lonnie Smith Jr., Mary Brown, Vernice Marcantel, Irene Jones, Lela Clements, Lorena Ferguson and Betty Clark; and her great grandchild Madison Ann Bowen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca (Blair Leftwich) and Denise (Mike Dunlap); her grandchildren, Matt Dunlap, Chad Leftwich, Jason Dunlap (Jennifer), Christy Bowen (Rodney), Ashley King (Kasey) and Chase Leftwich (Breck); and her siblings-in-law, Shirley (Kent Bolding), Mary Ann Johnston and Billye Johnston. She is also survived by nieces, nephew, and friends.
