He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Cooley and Ruby Cooley; his wife Patricia LaNell Key; his son Mitchell; and his brother Gerald Cooley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Elizabeth (Terry Finkbeiner), Brenda Kaye (Kerry Hancock) and Linda Faye (Bill Dunbar); and his grandchildren, Travis Cooley, Chad Cooley, Amber Goulding, Erin Dyck, Aubree Pauls, Evan Miles, Asa Miles and Chelsea Dunbar. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
