He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys; his sister Billie Jo Ussery; his brothers-in-law, Robert Smith and Loyd Ussery; and his niece Becky Ussery Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Colleen Daughety, Patty Snodgrass (Kelley) and Sharon Williams; his grandchildren, Kas, Dakotah and Caleb; his great grandchild Dixie; his sister Virginia Smith; and his sister-in-law Barbara Sloan. He is also survived by three nephews, two nieces and many other extended family and friends.
