He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford E. Howard and Dannie L. Howard; his brother Wilford Howard, Jr.; his son Scott of Dallas; and his granddaughter April Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Marc of La Grange, Bryan (Donna) of Dallas and Kelli Lindsay (Brian) of Granbury; and his sister Mary Gaitonde (Guy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.
