He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Gent and Clara May Gent; his siblings, C. W. Gent and Paula Anthony; his niece Betsy Huebner; and his great grandchild Nova Marie Bourque.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Lee Gent (Britany) of Glen Rose and Brian Scott Gent of Rainbow; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Darian, Destiny, Brian, Brianna, Robert Glen, Hailey, Larissa, Sidney, Zachary and Mylah; his great grandchildren, Saige, Blayze, Melody, Ryder, Lucas, Emma, Theia and Hadleigh; and his siblings, Glenda Solomon, Stephen Joe Gent and Larry Dan Gent.
