With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Pugh in Glen Rose, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Halbert and Frances Jeanette Weaver Halbert; her husband Gayland Pugh; her grandson Joseph Gayland Skiles; and her great grandchildren, Emily and Allison.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Skiles (Kerry) of Nemo, TX, Leta Pugh (Clayton) of Alvarado, TX and Gay Lynn Proffitt of Joshua, TX.; her granddaughter Jessica Chick (Chase) of Arlington, TX; her children, Mitchell Skiles of Nemo, TX, Vanessa Coonrod (Blaze) of Glen Rose, TX and Stephanie Jones (Zach) of Edmond, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Torren Coonrod and Zade Coonrod.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (700 Woodard Ave, Cleburne, TX 76033). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Squaw Creek Cemetery.
