She was predeceased by: her father Homer Arnell Knight; her husband Max Mansfield Edwards; her mother Sue Knight; her brother Homer Phillip Knight; her children, Melinda Ann Edwards McKnight and Phillip Mansfield Edwards; her son-in-law William Max Hart; her granddaughter Rebecca Danelle Kates; and her great grandchild Julian Lamont Fulton.
She is survived by: her sister Lajuana Sampson; her daughters, Gayla Edwards Hart, Kelly Edwards and Emily Edwards Mayfield (Gary); her children-in-law, Tracy McKnight and Jamie Edwards; her grandchildren, Joseph Hart (Torie), Joshua McKnight, Katherine Womack (Keith), Patrick McKnight (Amanda), Ashley Garcia, Victoria Huffman (Taylor), Jillian Ramsey (Colin), Abigail Fobell and Jamisyn Mayfield; and her great grandchildren, Lane, Eli, Navi, Landon, Ella, Logan, Madix, Lillian, Ava and Josiah.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alzheimer's Association.
