He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Rebecca Kates; and his great grandchild Julian Fulmer. He is survived by: his wife Saundra Edwards; his brother David Edwards (Earlene); his siblings-in-law, Betty Edwards, Lajuana Sampson (Sam) and Phillip Knight (Ruby); his children, Gayla Hart (Max), Kelly Edwards, Melinda McKnight (Tracy), Phillip Edwards (Jamie) and Emily Mayfield (Gary); and his grandchildren, Joseph Hart (Torie), Joshua McKnight, Katherine Womack (Keith), Patrick McKnight (Amanda), Ashley Garcia (Lindsey), Victoria Huffman (Taylor), Jillian Fobell (Colin), Abigail Fobell and Andrew Mayfield.
