He is survived by: his children, Michael Gunter (Regina), Ronnie Gunter, Rickey Gunter (Cynthia), David Gunter, Tommy Smith (Tina), Kirk Smith (Shirley), Lesia Cooper (James), Carolyn Boston (Byron) and Frances Tyeskie. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
