He was predeceased by: his brother George Spears. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Spears (Bailey) of Gladewater; his children, Cameron Scott Spears of Gladewater and Melissa Starnes (Justin) of Terry, MS.; and his siblings, Leslie Spears (Kathy) of Gladewater and Carolyn Scribner (Greg) of Winston-Salem, NC..
