He is survived by: his wife Denise Giles of Gladewater; his son Daniel Giles of Gladewater; his sister Marilyn Johnson of Huntsville; and his siblings-in-law, Max L Ford III of Denton, Bill Strawbridge of Shreveport and Mary Miller of Midland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
