It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Wedin of Gladewater, Texas, born in Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schafner and Helen Wright Schafner; her daughter Mary Helen Wedin of Gladewater; her brother Bill Schafner; and her grandson Asher Wedin.
She is survived by: her children, Bubby Young of Gladewater, Ronnie Ryan (Kelly) of Longview, Donnie Ryan (Brooke) of Longview, Billy Wedin (Tammie) of Palestine and Elaine Stephens (Lynn) of Kilgore; her grandchildren, Jarrod Sexton, Heather Sexton, Brianna Hohn (Daniel), Alyssa Whitaker, Olivia Ryan and Chloe Moore; and her great grandchildren, Chelsea and Jaxon Hohn.
