Charles Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Smith of Gladewater, Texas, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Smith and Pearl Weaver; and his son Clayton Smith. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith; his sisters, Betty Sorenson and Jill Karkosky; his daughter Shelley Couch; his stepson James Hicks; his daughter-in-law Casey Hicks; his grandchildren, Riley Hicks, Katherine Couch and Jonathan Couch; his son-in-law Billy Green Jr.; his stepdaughter Carol Green; and his grandsons, Brandon Green (Sabrina Green) and Josh Green.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
