He was predeceased by: his father William Alexander; his parents-in-law, Edmond and Ellen Vickers; and his brothers, Bobby and Chester Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Kennedy of Gladewater; his children, Tonya Howell (Ricky) of Gladewater, Jill Smith of Kilgore, Debbie Evans of Tyler, Roy Kennedy (Donna) of Kilgore and David Kennedy of Tyler; his sister LaNell Lindley (Tommy) of Lindale; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Hazelrig (Ray) of Tyler, Joan Weesner of Tyler, Norma Gossett of Bullard, Roy Vickers (Mary) of Bullard and Gary Vickers of Longview. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
