He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Smith; his children, Derek Smith of Hallsville, William Smith (Ursula) of Longview and April Young (Byron) of Fort Worth, Texas.; his grandchildren, Mason Smith, Morgan Smith and Landon Young; his siblings, Mary Inez Smith, Lonnie Smith, Cora Daniels, James Smith (Madie), John Smith (Bettie), Corene Smith, Henry Smith (Samantha), Franklin Smith (Vera), Roger Smith (Carolnet), Alice Key (Bobby) and Pearlie Wiley (Rufus); and his brother-in-law Wallie Lewis.
